Shirley A. Fleming, 70, Plymouth, passed away at 6:22 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, in her home with her family at her side.

Shirley was born on April 12, 1946 in Plymouth to Charles and Marie (Beam) Wilhelm and was a lifelong resident. Shirley retired in 2012 from American Containers of Plymouth. Shirley will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends. Shirley married George R. Fleming Dec. 14, 1991 at Bourbon; he passed away Dec. 17, 2009.

Shirley is survived by her two daughters: Jacqueline (Mrs. Michael) Yates, Plymouth; and Elizabeth Moore, South Bend; two step children: Anita Fleming, Gulf Shores, Ala.; and Everett (Tosha) Fleming, Gulf Shores Ala. Additional family include several grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren; her mother Marie Wilhelm, Plymouth; sister, Rose (Mrs. Edward) Fritz, Plymouth; and brother, Kenneth (Linda) Wilhelm, Camden, Tenn.

Shirley is preceded in passing by her father, a son, Daniel Overholser and her husband.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A time of visiting with the Fleming family will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, IN 46563 from 4-7 p.m.
