Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:31 p.m. Monday, July 25, at North Parker Street, north of Dubois Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Jarrod K. Barnhart, 33, South CR 550W, Warsaw,  Ryan C. Zimmer, 38, Hunters Plaza, Indianapolis, and Jeri D. Purdy, 32, EMS Lane, Leesburg. Barnhart stated he looked toward the passenger seat to grab his bottle of water and did not notice the vehicle in front of him had stopped. Barnhart’s vehicle rear-ended Zimmer’s, which pushed Zimmer’s vehicle into the rear of Purdy’s. Damage up to $100,000.
