Robert Lee Gray, 76, Elkhart, died 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at his residence. He was born Sept. 2, 1939, in Marfork, W.Va., to Lovell and Elizabeth (Maynard) Gray. He married Frances A. (Fusaro) Gray on Sept. 14, 1960.
Surviving are his wife: Frances, Elkhart; three children: Rocky Gray, Elkhart; Tina (Mike) Seniff, Elkhart; Misty (Gerry) LeCount, Milford; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings: Nell (John) Akers; Kenneth (Brenda) Gray; Linda Fish, all of West Virginia; Loma Hunter, Goshen; and Vicki (Ken) Bostic, South Carolina. Preceding him in death are his parents; daughter: Juli McClure; grandson: Chad Gray; and siblings: Georgia Kemper; Clarence Gray; Maxine Akers; Roger Gray; and James Gray; and a daughter-in-law: Jada Gray.
Robert was a 1957 graduate of East Bank High School. He was an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force, discharged in 1963. Robert was maintenance supervisor at Western Rubber, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, riding a motorcycle, gardening and anything West Virginia.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, with the service following at 2 p.m., all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen. Pastor Brenda Gray will officiate.
