Burl Leroy Nifong, 80, Indianapolis, and formerly of Marshall County, died at 4 p.m. July 8, 2016, at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis. He had been in declining health for several months.

Burl was born on April 20, 1936, in Plymouth, to Noble Nifong and Cora Alma (Stone) Nifong. He has lived in the Indianapolis since 2007, after living in Marshall County all of his life.

Visitation is from 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
