Kami J. Tyson, 34, Goshen, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, July 4, 2016, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

She was born July 22, 1981, in Goshen to Richard and Janice (Schaap) Tyson.

Survivors include her parents: Richard and Janice, Goshen; a sister: Sena (Lewis) Brown, New Paris; and a nephew: Tovi Brown.

A 2001 graduate of Fairfield High School, Kami was a member of Prairieview Missionary Church. Although her health did not allow for strenuous activity, Kami found ways to be involved. She especially enjoyed volunteering at Fountain View Place where she would visit with residents, paint nails, or just share a smile.

Her family would like to thank Goshen Hospice and Ribbon of Hope for all the support given to them over the years.

A memorial service will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Prairieview Missionary Church, Goshen. Pastor Phil Jerome will officiate. There will be a time for sharing and fellowship following the service.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Prairieview Missionary Church.
