Thomas G. Potter Sr. 47, Rochester, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

He was born Sept. 1, 1968 in Campton, Ky. the son of Daily “Doc” and Mayfre (Fletcher) Potter.

Early in life, Mr. Potter had worked in the logging industry for many years in Kentucky before moving to Indiana. While residing in Indiana, he had worked for Dragon Industries, Rochester Homes, and the Plymouth Foundry. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music, making people laugh, spending time with his children and his canine companions.

Survivors include his children: Adrianna Lee Potter, Rochester; Thomas G. Potter Jr., Rochester; mother: Mayfre Potter, Rochester; brothers, John Daily Potter, Monterey; Dwayne Edward and wife Karen E. Potter, Plymouth; Roger Lane and wife Lucinda Ann Potter, Monterey.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Teresa Lynn Neace.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday July 6, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Potter Memorial Fund.
