Sherry J. Ott, 62, Syracuse, passed away at 5:03 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born Aug. 30, 1953 in Kendallville to Robert Perry and Marilyn (Kiester) Eytcheson.

She was a lifetime Noble and Kosciusko County area resident and attended West Noble High School. She was married Feb. 20, 1971 in Wolf Lake to Robert E. “Bob” Ott who survives and was a former self employed babysitter.

She is survived by her husband; her two sons: Jeremy K. (Shawn) Ott; and Nathan L. (Stephanie Cannon) Ott, both of Syracuse; two grandsons: Nathan L.A. Ott and Johnathon Ott; her mother: Marilyn Boehm, Fort Wayne; her brother: Robert “Steve” Eytcheson, Churubusco.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister – Penny Baker.

Visitation will be from 2–4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.
