Robert Lee Persley, 58, peacefully passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his home in Wabash. He was born on Sept. 21,1957 in Wabash, to Allen and Betty (Enyeart) Persley.

Robert enjoyed life to its fullest and liked to pass his time by playing cards with his family and friends.

He is survived by his two sons: Thomas Persley and Neil (Catherine) Persley both of Hamilton, Ohio; his granddaughter: Adriana Persley of Hamilton; and his niece Michelle (Ronald) Moore of Lagro. His father died Sunday, June 26, 2016.and his brother, Allen Kent Persley, preceded him in death in 2014. He was also preceded in death by his mother Betty, grandfather Glen, and grandmother Alma Louise.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2-3 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
