Geneva Mae Green, 87, Plymouth, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016, after a three month illness.

She was born July 1, 1928, to the late William and Eva (Foeckler) Biltz, and grew up on their farm near Wyatt. After graduating from Madison Township High School in 1946, she married Edwin O. Green of Plymouth. He preceded her in death in February 2003.

Geneva was a homemaker who sewed her family’s clothes, gardened, canned, and grew rows and rows of flowers every year. She also sewed stuffed toys and baby quilts for gifts.

Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren was her church home where she played piano and encouraged her children to participate in the music activities. She loved to read and spent hours reading to her children and grandchildren. The company and laughter of neighbors and good friends was a great enjoyment.

Geneva is survived by her three children and sister-in-law, Margery Biltz, Mishawaka. Her children are: Wanneta (David) Reichert, Bourbon; Marla (Chuck) Seidelman, Michigan; Phil Green, Plymouth. She also has four grandchildren: Jill (Chris) Heet, Bourbon; Liberty (Heather) Reichert, Bourbon; Maggie (Hunter) Twomey, Watertown, N.Y.; Will (Catherine) Seidelman, Seattle, Wash. Her nine great grandchildren are: John Heet, Lauren (Cesar) Nerio, Henry Heet; Wayne, Willa, and Cora Reichert; David, Adelaide, and Diana Twomey.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother: Kenneth Biltz; and two grandchildren.

A service will be held at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main Street, Bourbon at noon Thursday, June 23. Family will welcome friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
