KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — At approximately 4:36 p.m. Saturday, June 18, the Pierceton Fire Department and Lutheran EMS were called out to a one vehicle accident on 5900 Monroe Drive, Warsaw. Police on the scene said that the driver hit a bump on the dirt road while going too fast, and fishtailed into a nearby tree, crushing the drive side door shut. The driver was trapped until emergency workers forced the door open.

Three were transported; one to Lutheran Hospital and two to Parkview Whitley Hospital. No word on injuries at this time.
