MILFORD — Dean E. Baker, 71, East CR 1250N, Milford, was not injured after his 2006 Chevrolet mini van was broadsided, then headed toward a pond and flipped on its side at the pond’s edge. The accident occurred at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at East CR 1300N and North CR 300E, Milford.

Justin S. Trunick, 21, Eastwood Court, Valparaiso, driver of a 2014 Cadillac, also was not injured.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Hepler stated Trunick had stopped on CR 300E, looked both directions and did not see any oncoming traffic. He continued north on CR 300E into the path of the Baker vehicle.

Damage was estimated up to $5,000.

Milford Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded.
