WARSAW — During the Warsaw Community Public Library Board of Trustee’s meeting on Monday, June 13, board members announced that the library will be offering temporary and non-resident library cards starting July 1.

The Assistant Director, Joni Brookins, described the changes to the WCPL’s policy, saying, “We will now sell cards to non-residents and 3 or 4-month cards will be available.”

“We will be able to issue non-resident school cards,” Brookins continued.

Ann Zydek, the library director, also announced their intentions to add eMagazines to their collection of digital materials this fall.

Other News:

  • New heating and cooling equipment has been installed but has not yet been activated.
  • The library has begun to see an average of 56 visitors every hour.
