WARSAW — One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries Sunday, June 12, after his vehicle struck a tree.

Jeffrey N. Bryant, 29, North Roosevelt Street, Warsaw, was driving a brown 2010 Chevrolet eastbound on Sheridan Street, Warsaw, when his vehicle crossed center, then left the other side of the road, running over a street sign and striking a tree. Bryant stated he had looked down to adjust his radio and, when he looked up, a rabbit was in his path and he swerved to miss it, losing control of his vehicle.

Lutheran EMS transported Bryant to the hospital with complaints of head pain and his vehicle was towed from the scene. Damage from the accident is estimated up to $10,000.
