Katherine Lucille Fisher, 93, Rochester, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at her residence.

She was born on June 30, 1923, in Warsaw, the daughter of William and Marion (Roose) Kinsey. On Feb. 16, 1946, in Warsaw, she married Bernard L. Fisher. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2001.

Katherine worked for United Telephone, Cole Hardware, Logansport, and Chambers Tax Services, Logansport. She also helped run the family business, B.L. Fisher Associates. She spent many of her retirement years in McAllen, Texas, where she taught math to children in after school programs. She was a member of The Cross Church, Rochester.

Survivors include her children: Sereta (Richard) Dornick, Columbia City; Barry (Terri) Fisher, Vanderbilt, Mich.; and Terry Fisher, Rochester; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband: Bernard; a son: Jerry Lane Thorne; a great-granddaughter; one sister; and one brother; and her parents.

A private Graveside Service will be observed. Memorial contributions may be made to The Cross Benevolent Fund. Arrangements are by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.
