Martha Rose (Huff) Yeager, 88, Bremen, passed away at 8:43 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, in Community Hospital of Bremen.

She was born on Sept. 10, 1927, in Bremen, to the late Earl and Hazel (Schlosser) Huff. She attended Manchester College and graduated from Bethel College majoring in Elementary Education. She retired in 1989 after 22 years of teaching at Bremen Public Schools. On June 6, 1948, she married her husband, Nicholas. He preceded her in death in 1997.

She is survived by a daughter: Susan (Reed) Juday, Wakarusa; and three sons: John (Jill), Bremen; James, Bremen; and Joel (Karla), South Whitley; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She had seven siblings preceding her in death, three brothers: Louis Huff; Fred Huff; and James Huff; and four sisters: Alice Ellis; Alberta Langfeldt; Jeanette Basset; and Margaret Moretto.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, in Bremen Missionary Church, Bremen. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the church with burial to follow in Bremen Cemetery. Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Bremen Missionary Church or the Bremen Holy Walk, Bremen.
