Rosella Zechiel Woidich, 103, passed away April 27, 2016 in Maitland, Fla.

Rosella was born to Earl and Ada (Scheuerman) Zechiel on Sept. 19, 1912 in Culver. She attended Valparaiso University during the Depression. She married Carl A. Woidich on Nov. 5, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1958. She was a retired secretary and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Her first job was filing ‘chits” at Culver Military Academy. She worked at the Federal Land Bank Louisville, IBM & Civil Service. She also managed her family’s insurance business in Louisville after the death of her husband. She moved to Winter Park, Fla. from San Antonio in 1980. She then became extremely active in the Winter Park Wellness Center. She was a resident at Savannah Cove in Maitland, Fla. since 2006.

Rosella is survived by her nieces and nephews: Betty (David) Tomeo, Kathryn (Robert) Scott, William (Teri) Zechiel, and Terry (Debbie) Zechiel; great nieces and nephews; and one great-great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Herman and Joseph Zechiel; and sister: Ermadine (Zechiel) Miller.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 11, at 3:30 p.m. at Culver Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Winter Park Health Foundation in Winter Park, Fla., or the Grace United Church of Christ in Culver.
