BREMEN — The Town of Bremen Water Department is going to be working on a water main that supplies water to homes in the 200 and 300 Block of N. Alexander St. starting at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 6.

In order to preform this work, they will temporarily shut off the water service to homes. Work is set to begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. and water will be shut off for approximately 8 hours. Residents are encouraged to draw enough water to supply needs during this period.

After the work is completed, there will be a boil water order in place for at least 72 hours. The Water Department will contact residents by letter when the “Boil Order” is lifted.

Boil Order: Any water used for food/drink needs to be boiled, showering is fine.
