PLYMOUTH — Shawn Allen Robinson, 36, Chicago, led police on a short foot pursuit before being arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child, strangulation and resisting law enforcement. He was booked in the Marshall County Jail.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a call at 12:43 a.m. Saturday, May 28, of a physical domestic dispute between a male and female at Jellystone Campground, 7700 block Redwood Road, Plymouth. When officers arrived, they were advised the male had left the lot and jumped the fence, leaving the park.

A Marshall County Officer arrived on scene moments later and located Robinson. He fled on foot but was immediately taken into custody.

During the investigation, Robinson was found to have battered a female and strangled her in front of a juvenile female.
