INDIANAPOLIS  — People gathered Memorial Day to pay respects at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A man prayed over each and every grave of the veterans buried in the Blue Star Cemetery.

The scene filled a Carmel couple with emotion.

“Someone took time out of their life to care about every one of these people. It’s so special. They are so forgotten,” Jan Edds said.

There were several services throughout the day at Crown Hill, including one where U.S. Sen. Dan Coats spoke.
