WARSAW — From The Spirit of Ireland to Glorious Greece, World Tour 2016 will take you on a whirl-wind trip around the globe. Performers from Debra Collier’s School of Dance will take the stage Saturday, June 4 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 5 at 2 pm at the WCHS Performing Arts Center. The dancers will showcase choreography inspired by various countries, travels and cultures.
Marking the 39th season for the studio, the recitals will include over 100 students recognized for five or more continuous years of study during the awards ceremonies. Presale tickets are $10 and may be purchased through Tututix.com. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.
Debra Collier’s School of Dance offers a wide variety of classes for dancers of all ages and levels. The studio provides various opportunities for students to develop their interest in dance, including the upcoming master workshops with guest instructors, Diane Gudat and Sarah Mills. In addition to a six-week summer session, various Princess Camps and theme camps are available. A special one-day workshop is also offered to allow students to take a glimpse behind the scenes of the theater in Musicals and Makeup.
