WINONA LAKE – Lakeland Christian Academy recently honored athletes from its spring sports programs at both the middle school and high school levels.

The duo of Melissa Goss and Alex Plastow earned MVP honors for the high school track team for the Cougars. Goss was also honored for competing in the 800 and long jump at the sectional. Carlie Wise was saluted for taking part in the 100 and 400 and Luke Miller for competing in the 100 at the sectional.

The pair of Sadie Lemon and Matthew Helton were recognized as the MVPs for the middle school track team. Normita Bonilla and Sam Turner earned the Leadership Awards for the Middle School track squad. Landon Paris earned the Mental Attitude Award for the Middle School golf team.
