SOUTH WHITLEY — The Whitko golf team had its best performance of the season Tuesday night, it just didn’t end with a win.

The Wildcats shot a season-low 17, just short of Triton’s 165.

Cade Bechtold led Whitko with a 39 followed by Grady Clingerman’s 44. Tim Gensch singed for a 45 while Kaleb Busz had a 47. Whitko’s JV was represented by Austin Newttrouer’s 48, his third-straight sub-50 round. Cole Cmar (57) and Devin Goggin (59) rounded out the JV lineup for Whitko.

No stats were reported for Triton.

Whitko hosts West Noble Thursday in its regular season finale. Triton will also be at home Thursday.
