WARSAW – The threat of inclement weather later this week is already forcing the hands of those slated to host postseason tournament events.

The WCHS Athletic Department announced this morning a change in the schedule for its Class 4-A softball sectional.

The semifinal games, which were originally scheduled for Wednesday night, will now be played Tuesday night.

The Warsaw Sectional will begin tonight (May 23) with Goshen versus Elkhart Memorial at 5:30 p.m., followed by Concord versus Elkhart Central.

The semifinals will now be played tomorrow night (May 24) with tonight’s winners squaring off at 5:30 p.m. Host Warsaw will then meet Northridge in the bye semifinal game.

The championship game at Warsaw is still scheduled for Friday (May 27) at 6:30 p.m.
