AKRON – Warsaw made the most of late opportunities, scoring six runs in the final two innings to beat Tippecanoe Valley, 7-5, in softball action Friday at Valley.
Valley grabbed a 3-1 lead in the fourth after starting the inning by loading the bases. An error brought in the first run, then RBI singles from Rachael Torpy and Emmalee Cohagen got Valley going.
