Kosciusko County Students Graduate From Manchester University

NORTH MANCHESTER — Students from Kosciusko County graduated Saturday, May 14, from Manchester University. The university conferred degrees to 272 students.

Commencement 2016 marked a milestone in Manchester history when it conferred its first Doctor of Pharmacy degrees. One student, Andrea Whitaker of Warsaw, had the highest grade point average in this highly competitive class.

Area students graduating include:

Leesburg: Cody Smalley, biology-chemistry.

Silver Lake: Trae Bruce, environmental studies; Veronica Caudill, psychology.

Syracuse: Blaine Dean-Hamilton, physics, cum laude; Karmen Marquart, mathematics magna cum laude; Joshua Plank, economics.

Warsaw: Brock Anson, marketing; Riley Bannon, finance, magna cum laude; Benjamin Bolen, mathematics; Brandi Ciriello, mathematics; Katelyn Heath, accounting; Raquel Trejo, exercise science and fitness; Andrea Whitaker, Doctor of Pharmacy, magna cum laude. A member of the first doctoral class at Manchester University, Whitaker received the Dean’s Excellence Award.
