
Jose Guadalupe Garcia, 54, passed away with his family by his side at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016, in his home. Jose was born in Concepcion de buenos aires, Jalisco, Mexico on May 5, 1962, to Juan and Micaela (Llamas) Garcia.
On May 16, 1992, Jose would take as his bride Cristina Sanchez. Their family would move to Plymouth in 2005.
Jose worked for Indiana Heat Transfer for seven years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Plymouth.
Family was very important to Jose, and he treasured the memories made. He loved to cook for his family and friends and loved children. His granddaughter was his pride and joy.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 24 years: Cristina; and their three children: Yasmin, Israel and Yesenia Garcia; and one granddaughter: Sophia Luva, all of Plymouth. Also surviving are ten siblings: Carmen, Candelaria, Martha, Socorro, Magdalena, Juan, Alfonso, Justo, Margarito, and Alejandro.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday May 23, in St. Michael Catholic Church, 612 N. Center Street, Plymouth. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. in the church following the visitation with Fr. John Korcsmar C.S.C. officiating.
Family burial will be at a later date in the Panteon Municipal Concepcion de Buenos Aires, Jalisco, Mexico.
