WARSAW — One home, unoccupied, has received demolition orders following the Warsaw Code Enforcement hearing held Monday, May 18, by Larry Clifford, hearing officer.

The home in question, which sits at 1017 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, has repair costs that far exceed its demolition expense. The demolition will be at the expense of the owner after a reasonable amount of time has passed in order to allow for the owner’s response, according to Clifford.

In other business, a property at 1010 E. Clark St. came up. An agreement was made to postpone discussion of the property until June 20. A civil penalty of $5,000 was discussed and left open as an option b the board, but not pursued at this time.

The next Warsaw Code Enforcement Hearing will be on Monday, June 20.
