Charles H. Francis, 70, Roann, died May 11, 2016 at 6:46 p.m. in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester. He was born September 14, 1945 in Davy, WV to James & Eula (Thomas) Francis. On June 28, 1971 he married Wincel J. Buttrum. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. Charles was a self employed appliance repairman.

He is survived by his wife: Wincel Francis; sons: John (Shannon) Francis, Florence, AZ; Mike (Tracy) Day, Wabash; Charlie Francis, Roann; Jamie Francis, Roann; daughters: Stacy Francis, Crawfordsville; Shelley (David) Stafford, Silver Lake; Marcie (Randy) Shepherd, Wabash; brothers: Roger (Tonya) Francis, Kokomo; Kenny (Sherry) Francis, Merrillville, TN; sister: Rita (Tom) Jones, Merrillville, TN; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Proceeding him in death are one brother: Ed Francis; one sister: Cheryl Gullett; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren are deceased.

Family and friends may call btween 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Services will be at 1 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester.

Pastor Russell Reahard will officiate. Burial will be in Roann Community Cemetery, Roann.
