GOSHEN – With the completions of boys and girls track and Friday’s girls tennis championships, the Northern Lakes Conference has released the All-NLC performers for the three sports.

In girls tennis, All-Conference awards went to the seven individuals who claimed titles Friday at Warsaw. Krystal Grubb of Elkhart Memorial along with the Warsaw duo of Colette Smith and Ella Knight were the individual champions. At doubles, Plymouth’s team of Kendall Dreibelbis and McKenzie Scheetz and the Memorial team of Hannah Hakim and Makennzie Williams earned the honors.

At-Large All-NLC went to NorthWood’s Sydney Wysong, Concord’s Alana Brubaker and Plymouth’s Lanae Singleton.

Honorable Mention All-NLC went to Warsaw’s Liza Lewis, Memorial’s Taylor Freedline, Northridge’s Kylie Frauhiger, Plymouth’s Ashley Harrell and NorthWood’s Jama Rice and Kennedy Weins.

Coach of the Year went to Plymouth’s Brad Haeck, whose team went 6-1 in the NLC round robin and scored 44 points to win the tournament title.

In girls track, Warsaw is heavy on the list after crushing the conference in both the regular season, 7-0, and in the championship meet with 196 points, 77 points clear of runner-up Northridge.

Making the All-NLC list for the Lady Tigers were Sam Alexander, Remi Beckham, Mia Beckham, Emma Bohnenkamper, Abbi Curtis, Alexie Day, Brooke Rhodes, Maygan Bellamy, Anna Craig, Hannah Dawson, Allison Miller and Audrey Rich. Honorable Mention All-NLC for Warsaw was Claire Kehler.

Jasmine Hudson and Ally Smith of Concord, Lexie Blankenship and Rylee Dahlman, and Erica Stutzman and Riley Hershberger from NorthWood each made All-NLC, along with Plymouth’s Nicole Horvath, Wawasee’s Katlyn Kennedy and Goshen’s Jill Kissinger.

Honorable Mention All-NLC went to Morgan Blyly of Northridge, Oniste Thomas of Concord, Nora Rangel of Goshen, Ally Doran of Plymouth and Hannah-Marie Lamle of Wawasee.

Coach of the Year went to Scott Erba of Warsaw.

In boys track, several teams had multiple representatives despite Warsaw’s championship at the conference meet to go with its 7-0 round robin record.

The Tigers had Ross Armey, Rane Kilburn, Brandon Reinholt, Owen Glogovsky and Will McGarvey all earn All-NLC and Tommy Hickerson and Landan Perry take Honorable Mention All-NLC.

Goshen had quite a haul, with Ronaldo Garcia, Jordan Holley, Zachary Oyer, Colton Potter, Jason Barahona-Rosales, Brenn McKee and Juan Perez all earn All-NLC and the duo of Hudson Kay and Josuel Sanchez take Honorable Mention All-NLC.

NorthWood had Bailey Gessinger, Derek Parker, Brayton Yoder, Garrett Griffin and Ryan Price take All-NLC and the duo of Caleb Newcomer and Jacob Stump take Honorable Mention All-NLC.

Also drawing All-NLC nods were Northridge’s Kyle Mikey, Ben Zuercher, Nathan Blyly and Conner Sandt, and Plymouth’s Nate Patterson and AJ Styers. Concord’s Cedric Mitchell was Honorable Mention All-NLC.

Warsaw head coach Matt Thacker was named Coach of the Year.
