Lester H. Kincaid, 76, Goshen, passed away Sunday night, May 8, 2016, at home after an extended illness.

He was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Dakota, W. Va., to Froud and Edith (Sampson) Kincaid. On July 1, 1988, he married JoAnn Jones in Goshen.

She survives along with a son: Jason (Kimberly) Kincaid; two stepdaughters: Kerri (Matt) Faldoe; Melissa (Toriano) Williams, all of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and three brothers: John Kincaid, Nappanee; Zane “Hank” Kincaid; and Roy Kincaid, both of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Lester H. ‘Buddy’ Kincaid II.

A longtime Goshen resident, Mr. Kincaid worked at Western Rubber for 30 years. He was a member of Harvest Community Church. An avid Indiana University basketball fan, he enjoyed collecting a variety of things.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service on Friday, May 13, at Harvest Community Church, Goshen. Pastors Jeremy Gwaltney and Jim Dreier will officiate. Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.
