WARSAW — Banner Medical’s new 43,000 square foot building on Polk Drive in Technology Park is nearing completion. The first groups of new employees have been hired and are undergoing training in the company’s Illinois facility. According to CEO and President Mark Redding, production should commence by June. “We are very excited about opening Banner Medical in Warsaw,” he noted. “The facility gives Banner the opportunity to be within close proximity of its largest customers.”
Banner Medical, a division of Banner Service Corporation, was created in 2008 as a supply-chain provider of medical grade implantable and instrument materials to the medical device industry. “We are pleased to add another vendor company to our incredible medical device cluster,” stated George Robertson, KEDCO President. This $8 million facility not only provides state-of-the-art processing but will create 76 new jobs in Kosciusko County.
Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer stated, “The Warsaw community is happy to welcome Banner Medical to the Warsaw Technology Park! As a supplier to the orthopedic industry, their new location will provide great proximity to their customers and enhance synergy amongst them that will improve productivity and bottom line.”
