WARSAW — Warsaw Community High School will host a physical night from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 9, for elementary, middle school and high school student-athletes.

If you plan to try out for a WCS sports team in the 2016-2017 school year, you must have a valid physical (completed on or after April 1, 2016) on file at your school to play all elementary, middle school and high school athletics.

High school student athletes and current-year incoming freshman must have a copy of their physical on file in the athletic office by July 1, before participating in any team summer conditioning programs.

One way to ensure your physical is complete, accurate and turned in to the proper school/coach is to attend physical night. The event will be convenient with no appointment necessary. Area physicians and nurses will be on hand that night to ensure all students are served. Depending on the volume attending that time, physicals may take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

The cost of the physical is $25 with proceeds benefiting WCHS athletics. While teams will conduct fundraisers, WCHS athletics utilizes these proceeds to support the overall athletics general fund.
