AKRON — With determination, Tippecanoe Valley High School personnel went forward today, Monday, May 9, with the ground breaking ceremony for the school’s new press box.
With a steady drizzle falling outside, school officials, planning committee members and members of the Scott Bibler family gathered indoors, near the TVHS athletic office, for a photo op and to mark the official beginning of the project.
Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation Superintendent Brett Boggs issued a statement marking the occasion.
“On behalf of the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation, I thank the family of Scott Bibler for their gift of a new Tippecanoe Valley High School press box. Built in his memory, this beautiful new facility will serve the high school and middle school football, track and soccer programs for years to come,” Boggs said. “Scott Bibler’s time as a player, teacher and coach at Tippecanoe Valley High School was a blessing to the Tippecanoe Valley community. This new press box built in his honor will serve as a tribute to the legacy of Scott Bibler.”
