LEESBURG — The Town of Leesburg Board met in order to discuss, among other things, the status of the Church Street paving project on Monday, May 9.

Despite having paid for the work last year, the repaving of Church Street is still unfinished. The board discussed a variety of methods that might help move along the repairs. It was recommended that the board get a signed schedule for the work and the board agreed.

“My big issue is that it was promised to us last year and we still don’t have it… I don’t like that,” stated President of the Board, Doug Jones.

Other Business:

• Pursuance of a rate review for the sewers was approved.
• A date was set for the 2017 Budget Meeting for 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 23.
• An employee disciplinary policy was tentatively approved of by the Board, but was tabled to be rewritten into a resolution and presented at the next meeting for voting.
