Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:

• 6:46 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 400 block of Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Ronald C. Pressnall reported a burglary of power tools and hand tools.
• 8:43 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 9300 block of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Officers responded to calls about a found firearm.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

• 7:07 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Personnel at Meijer reported a theft of miscellaneous merchandise.
• 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 300 block of Enterprise Drive, Warsaw. Amanda Sue Hall reported a violation of a protective order.
• 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 1700 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Devan Lamont Bounds reported a verbal fight.
