Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

1:43 p.m. Friday, April 29, E. Old Trail, north of North CR 1000E., Pierceton. Driver: Paul A. Ruckman, 32, East CR 900S 16, Claypool. Ruckman’s breaks malfunctioned, causing him to leave the roadway and hit a tree.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

1:03 p.m. Friday, April 29, Lake City Highway and Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Judith K. McClendon, 63, Old stone Cove, Fort Wayne and Julie D. Kessler, 68, I Street, La Porte. Kessler rear ended McClendon at the intersection.
