Warsaw Golf: Tigers Earn Win Over Trojans

WARSAW — The Warsaw and Triton golf teams got together for a brisk 18 holes Tuesday night. The Tigers emerged victorious with 332-344 win at Rozella Ford Golf Club.

Warsaw’s Michael Jensen led all golfers with an 80. Sam Yeager signed for an 83 for the Tigers. Luke Delp (84), Jacob LaLonde (85) and Luke Johnson (93) rounded out the scores for the Warsaw varsity. Triton was led by Jordan Anderson’s 82. Isaac Wall finished with the Trojan’s second-highest score at 84. Beau Hepler (88), Braden Kreft (90) and Bryce Swihart (91) rounded out Triton’s scores.

Warsaw’s JV won 328-379. Tommy Meier paced the Tigers with a 78. Triton was led by Mace Eads’ 92.

Triton (0-2) will play in the LaVille Invitational next Saturday while Warsaw (1-0) will play at the Wawasee Invite this coming Saturday at South Shore GC.
