Track Team Drops Pair
The Wawasee boys track team fell to 0-4 in NLC competition following a pair of losses Monday evening. The Warriors dropped an 80-51 decision to Memorial and lost 102-30 to NorthWood.
Wawasee had no individual winners in the meet.
“We had several positive performances and the team competed well on the track,” stated Wawasee coach Scott Lancaster. “There were many personal bests but we have been waiting for some breakout performances, we’ve just not gotten to that point yet. We’re looking forward to Thursday’s meet to see if we can build on today’s progress.”
Wawasee travels to Middlebury for a meet with Northridge and Goshen this Thursday.
