ROCHESTER – Jeremy Julian led the way as the Tippecanoe Valley golf team posted a pair of wins Thursday night.

Julian, a junior, earned individual medalist honors with a 41 as the host Vikings shot 199 to defeat both Caston (217) and North Miami (254) in a triangular at the Round Barn Golf Course.

Chandler Newsome fired a 50 as Valley improved to 3-2 on the season with the two wins. Kane Stellar and John Young each shot 54 and Bryston Canada had a 59 for the winners.

Valley will compete in the Whitko Invitational on Saturday at the Sycamore Golf Course.

The Tippecanoe Valley JV golf team got a split in its match with Caston and North Miami, running its season record to 2-3.  Caston won the three-way event with a score of 271, while Valley and North Miami finished at 285 and 301 respectively.

Noah Hoffman and Bryce Madeford each shot a 67 for the JV Vikings. Jacob Hoffman had a 74, while Chris Schipper shot 77 and Jeremy Gagnon 107 for Valley.

The Valley JV team will take part in the Plymouth JV Invitational on Saturday at the Pretty Lake Country Club.
