Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:37 p.m. Monday, April 18, North CR 700E and North Syracuse-Webster Road, North Webster. Driver: Conner M. Erlenwein, 17, East CR 900N, Syracuse. Erlenwein attempted to turn his vehicle left and lost control, causing it to slid through the intersection and collide with a utility pole. damage up to $2,500.

7:14 a.m. Monday, April 18, West CR 900N and North CR 300W, Leesburg. Driver: Eusebio P. Cervantes, 21, Meadows, Nappanee. Cervantes’s vehicle drifted to the shoulder and he overcompensated, causing it to cross the road, rolling into a ditch. Damage up to $5,000.

10:02 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, East CR 1400N north of North CR 100E, Milford. Driver: Jordan O. Millberg, 19, North Shaffer Street, Milford. Millberg failed to stop for the stop sign and lost control of her vehicle, which went into a nearby ditch, hitting a telephone box and landing in a field. Damage up to $5,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:27 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, SR 13N south of East South Street, North Webster. Drivers: Hanna M. Yagel, 30, West Tulip Street, Pierceton, and Amy E. Kellar, 37, North Aspen Drive, Warsaw. Yagel became distracted and her vehicle rear-ended Kellar’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:14 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, East Main Street and North Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jesus Velasquez, 17, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg, and Kathy C. Ragan, 63, East Walnut Street, Silver Lake. Velasquez proceeded into the intersection and Ragan’s oncoming vehicle collided with his vehicle. Both vehicles then hit a parked vehicle. A nearby witness confirmed this account. Damage up to $50,000.

3:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, East Winona Avenue and South Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Christina P. Powers, 26, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw, and Rene Salinas, 27, Logan Street, Warsaw. At the intersection, Powers stopped, then proceeded into the path of Salinas’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $25,000.
