WARSAW – WCHS wrestling standout Kyle Hatch is continuing his success on the mat.

Hatch, a junior, competed in the Scholastic Duals this past weekend at Wabash College. He went 6-1 in the tournament with his lone loss being to a two-time state champion from North Dakota.

Hatch posted a 41-2 mark this past season for coach Justin Smith’s Tigers. He won NLC, sectional and regional championships before a loss in his second match in the semistate round of the state tournament. Hatch placed seventh at the State Finals as a sophomore in 2015 and eighth in 2014 to conclude his freshman campaign.

Hatch also competed in the Wrestling Folk Style Nationals over the recent Spring Break. He earned a fifth-place finish in that meet held in Iowa.
