WARSAW – Some of the bigger team names in IHSAA golf were on hand Saturday for the Don Dicken Classic, hosted by Warsaw Community High School at Stonehenge Country Club.

Carmel shot an unbelievable 299 team score to win the title, with Homestead just three strokes back at 302. Noblesville and Westfield tied for third at 313, and Warsaw’s ‘A’ team were at 340, Triton at 351 and the Warsaw ‘B’ team at 370 among the 14 teams.

Kevin Stone of Carmel led the field with a one-over 72 and teammate Jeff Doty was second with a 73.

Warsaw’s ‘A’ output was paced by the 76 from Sam Yeager and 86 from Michael Jensen. The ‘B’ grouping had Jacob LaLonde shoot 86 and Luke Delp card a 91.

Isaac Wall led Triton with an 83 and Jordan Anderson finished at 87 among the Trojan five.

Warsaw golfs again next Saturday at the Lake Central Invite while Triton will travel to St. Joe County to meet Mishawaka and John Glenn Monday afternoon.
