NAPPANEE — Upcoming programs and events at the Nappanee Public Library will include:

Nappanee Center Trains Junior Detectives

The “Please Do Not Touch” signs have been lifted for a special program at the Nappanee Center at 302 W. Market St. Kids will get the chance to handle items in the museum collection that are not normally accessible and learn how to keep history alive by preserving documents, photographs and artifacts. Junior detectives will meet from 4–5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28.

Board of Trustees Meeting At Library

The Board of Trustees of the Nappanee Public Library will meet in regular session at 7 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at 157 North Main St. The public is invited to attend.

Photoshop Class At Nappanee Library

The Nappanee Public Library will host a Photoshop class on Mondays, May 2, 9 and 16, 2016, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Learn the basics of Adobe’s popular and powerful photo editing program in this 3-session class with graphic designer, Wendy Replogle. Students age 12 and up are welcome. The cost is $10 per person, and it is recommended that students bring a laptop with Photoshop software.

Star Wars Project At Next Teen Tuesday

Teens are invited to prepare for “May the Fourth” at the next Teen Tuesday program at the Nappanee Public Library. Meet in The Cube, the Library’s Makerspace, from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, to make your own Star Wars T-shirt. Those who register in advance will have a shirt provided. Those who do not, will need to bring their own.
