WARSAW — Canning is an important, safe method for preserving food if practiced properly. Warsaw Community Public Library is hosting a class about safe Canning Basics, 6-7:30 p.m.Tuesday, April 19.

Topics that will be discussed are: How to pack the jars, what canning method to use, what utensils you need and some home recipes easy for you to use.
