WARSAW — The Warsaw Community High School Bands will present their spring “Showcase Concert” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19.

The WCHS Concert Band will perform the pieces they’ve prepared for ISSMA Organizational Contest on April 22, at Northridge High School. These include “The Witching Hour,” “Old Churches” and “When Spirits Soar.”

The Wind Ensemble will perform “Variations on a Korean Folk Song,” “Dance of the New World” and “Slava” by Leonard Bernstein; all of which they have prepared for ISSMA State Qualifications contest on April 30, at Chesterton High School.

Admission to the concert is free and the public is invited to attend. The bands are under the direction of Mickey Ratliff and Emily Mikel.
