Driver Refuses Medical Treatment After Accident

WARSAW — A driver who complained of pain following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday, March 30, was checked by paramedics but refused medical treatment. The accident occurred at 11:18 a.m. at Detroit Street, and West CR 250N, in front of a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s officer.

John Stamper, 34, Rochester, was eastbound on CR 250N in a Ford Excursion and thought he had the green light, entering the intersection. His vehicle then struck the side of a Toyota Tundra, driven by John Kidd, 56, Warsaw. Kid was northbound on Detroit Street. The Kidd vehicle went off into the ditch area in front of Toyota of Warsaw.

Kid was uninjured in the accident.

The damage to the two vehicles was extensive.
