Rev. Teresa V. Lewis, 66, of rural Macy, Indiana and formerly of Colorado Springs, Colo. passed at 4:20 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor of Peru.

She was born on March 3, 1950 in Elwood to Orville R. and Virginia Mae (Hutto) Lewis.

She was a United Methodist Church pastor. She had been the minister of the Roann United Methodist Church and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Rochester.

She was a graduate of Windfall High School in 1968. She then graduated from ILIF College of Denver Colorado with her MDIV Degree.

She is survived by her sisters: Fran Renee (Malcolm) Burbury, NSW, Australia; Tracey (Leonard) Luty, Pine, Colo.; a brother: Richard C. (Sherry) Lewis, Kokomo; two nieces; a nephew; four grand nieces; and a grand nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Orville R. and Virginia Mae Lewis; and a sister: Darcy Kit Lewis-McMahon.
