Marilyn E. Penn, 65, Mentone, passed at 3:45 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at her residence.

She was born on Aug. 14, 1950, in Atwood, to William and Helen (Hoffer) Frush. She married on July 5, 2014, in Mentone, to Daniel Penn, he survives. Marilyn worked as a Case Worker in Nevada, at Zolman Farms of Warsaw, and at Biomet of Warsaw. She was a graduate of Mentone High School and Porter Business College. She enjoyed gardening and literature. She always tried to instill by Christian family values.

Survivors include husband: Daniel Penn, Mentone; daughter: Heather Banghart, Mentone; sons: Jonathan Brown, Warsaw; Jeremy Hassel, Warsaw; six grandchildren; brothers: Charlie Frush, Warsaw; Dick Frush, Pa.; sister: Jeanne Weirick, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Helen Frush.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 28, at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at King Memorial Home, Mentone, officiated by Pastor Bob Jarbo. Burial will be at Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
