
WINONA LAKE — Lakeland Christian Academy has announced its Student Senate.
The purpose of LCA’s Student Senate is to assist the faculty and administration in the governing of student activities and affairs, serve as a builder of school spirit and promote participation in school activities, and initiate Christian service projects for the betterment of the school and community.
The Student Senate promotes the school’s mission statement, encourages growth in Christian character and develops positive, Biblically based relationships among students, faculty and staff, said Scott Wiley, principal and Student Senate sponsor.
Those serving on the Student Senate are:
Seniors — Hannah Delp, president; Carissa Urschalitz, vice president; Gabby Catron, secretary; and Ryan Gross, treasurer
Juniors — Chance Blair, president; Josh Gervasi, vice president; Heidi Ziebarth, secretary; and Liz Brehany, treasurer.
Sophomores — Jeff Jones, president; Garrett McCoomb, vice president; Kaitlyn Binegar, secretary; and Josh Turner, treasurer,
Freshman — Landon Twombly, president; Jacob Harmon, vice president; Remington Swanson, secretary; and Braxton Goldsmith, treasurer.
Eighth-Grade — Landon Paris, president; Parker Stewart, vice president; Kendall Stevens, secretary; and Sam Turner, treasurer.
