
Thomas “Tom” Edward Nolin, Argos, died at 10:30 p.m. March 20, 2016, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Tom was born on Oct. 6, 1946 in Plymouth, to James E. Nolin and Bessie L. (Ronk) Nolin. Tom had lived most of his life in the Argos community.
Tom was a truck driver. He was a board member for the Marshall County Blueberry Festival and was a fireman and EMT in Argos with the Argos Fire Department for 46 years and the Argos EMS for 20 years. Tom was also involved with the ITPA — Indiana Tractor Pullers Association. He also attended Argos High School.
Tom is survived by his daughter: Kellie Shei and husband Terry of Argos; grandchildren: Alicia Nunamaker and husband Adam; and Patric Shei; great-grandson: Hunter Thomas Nunamaker; sisters: Malinda Wakeland and husband John of Plymouth; Sandra Heyde and friend Don Mort of Bremen; and Tommie Jean Ripper of Sandwich, Ill.; brothers: Jim Nolin and wife Betty of Argos; and Jerry Nolin and wife Jane of Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew: Kenneth Clark
Friends may visit with the family from 3–8 p.m. Wednesday March 23 at Argos United Methodist Church, 570 N. Michigan St., Argos. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 10 a.m. at the church with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. and Rev. Heather Foley. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, with honor services conducted by the Argos Fire Department.
